- We are going to hold the award ceremony for ‘Creative Karuta Award 2017’ which is an international competition calling for a pair of picture and short texts featuring charmes of various contries.
- We received 449 entries from 19 countrries in 2017 and the 26 pairs of picture and text were selected. The award is a pack of karuta cards called ‘Global Karuta 2017’ featuring the all winning works.
- The winners and the families are coming to attend not only from Japan but also from Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore and Sri Lanka.
- After the ceremony we are going to play karuta with the ‘Global Karuta 2017’.
